Excursion in Arch Fortress

Hi everyone ☺ 😊. Today is 28th of November and we had an excursion in Arch Fortress

.We had a group Excursion together with my classmates and our teacher Matluba Ahmedovna .

The Ark of Bukhara is a massive fortress located in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, that was initially built and occupied around the 5th century AD.

In addition to being a military structure, the Ark encompassed what was essentially a town that, during much of the fortress's history, was inhabited by the various royal courts that held sway over the region surrounding Bukhara. The Ark was used as a fortress until it fell to Russia in 1920.

Currently, the Ark is a tourist attraction and houses museums covering its history. The museums and other restored areas include an archaeological museum, the throne room, the reception and coronation court, a local history museum.

Also we visited Kushbegi's  courtyard. You can enter the courtyard through a corridor. You can see a courtyard consisted of rooms for representatives of the Russian Embassy and Russian  political ambassadors who came to meet Kushbegi and the Emir in the Ark cidetal were built by Jonmirzo kushbegi. The rooms which were previously were very simple  were expanded by Astankul kushbegi in 1908.

Next we visited reception room of Rakhim Khan.It was related to the middle of 18th century. In this room dies were applied on the circles of gold and silver coins 🪙.

Our next place to explore was greeting courtyard. This courtyard hosted the greeting ceremony of Bukhara rulers.By the early 1920s  one had got an access to the greeting courtyard through the throne hall.Entering the yard ,they waited in a pending queue to greet the king.Daily 300-400 people participated in this ceremony to greet the king 🤴 😀.

I WILL TRY TO SHARE MY NEXT IMPRESSIONS WITH YOU.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION 😇🤗
